I have taken my car to this place on various occasions for different purposes (body work, engine work, suspension work, electrical work) and have found the staff to be quite helpful and knowledgeable. It was somewhat difficult finding a place that works with a lot of Volvo's but these guys came highly recommended. The work was excellent every time, and if it didn't come out the way they wanted it, they would take the time to make it right. Great service overall. Will be back there as soon as I hit another pot-hole :) -
I was on a business trip in New Orleans last month and accidentally scraped the bumper on my rental car. I searched for a body shop on Google Maps and found that Excellent Automotive was nearby. So I brought the car in late in the afternoon, without an appointment, and asked what they could do to help me out. Danny took the car into the shop and brought it back in 10 minutes. Miraculously, it looked as good as new! I offered to pay, but Danny wouldn't let me. If this is the way he treats a stranger who will never be a repeat customer, I can only imagine how well local customers must be treated. Thank you Danny Escalante and Excellent Automotive Service!

I recently took my car because I had trouble getting it to start. They quickly diagnosed the problem that it was a faulty starter. The guys couldn't have been nicer. They even offered to bring me home while they worked on car. When they were done, they offered to bring the car to my home. Once again going up and beyond their duty! Can't recommend them enough.

My poor Acura RSX was flooded a few weeks ago in one of the torrential downpours that we have been having this year. I had to bring it in for the flood damage, and it turned out there were a few mechanical problems of which I was unaware. Danny and Andres worked up a full list for me and were very clear about what was critical and what could wait. The biggest issue turned out to be my engine's timing chain, which had jumped 2 teeth! This is going to sound like an exaggeration, and also make me look a little foolish for driving it out of timing, but it pulled like it did when I first bought it from the original owner, maybe even better.

The owner is awesome. He did work on my car that no other big businesses would do. My radiator was leaking from a collision and he managed to fix it without me doing 2,000$ worth of body work.

The owner and staff are very knowledgeable about a wide range of vehicles from top-of-the-line Mercedes-Benz to 30 year old Toyota's. The customer service is excellent!
